What is Filling?
Filling material injection is one of the minimally invasive aesthetic applications. Applications for eliminating wrinkles are generally made from the age of 30 years, but applications for improving contour disorders can be made from the middle of 20 years of age.
Which fillers do we use?
Due to the absence of allergy risk and safer, we prefer temporary filling materials. Mostly we use fillers with hyaluronic acid and calcium hydroxyapatite. Hyaluronic acid derivatives are substances already present in the body and provide fullness by holding water about 100 times their weight. At the same time, because it is a degradable product that can be separated from the body over time and leave no side effects.
It usually lasts for a year. In case of regular application, the effect can be permanent in the application area over time.
We often use a filler to remove grooves or deep wrinkles that cause shadows. Grooves between the forehead, nose lip groove, lip edges and the jaw and between the eyebrows are the most common areas of application.
What should be considered after application?
Application of short-term ice after application of filler prevents or reduces the formation of bruises. It is recommended to drink plenty of water for the first 2 days, especially because the fillers which contain hyaluronic acid show better effect by water. Excessive massage should be avoided in the area where the filling material is applied.
What are the advantages of temporary fillings?
There is no need for operating room for application. The application is extremely easy and can be completed in a short time. It does not create because it does not have a permanent effect. Side effects are almost negligible. One can continue daily activities immediately after the application
