Patients with minor deformities in the nose, with no upper broaden bone portion or with simple superficial irregularities following previous surgery can be treated with a limited operation called mini rhinoplasty. In this technique, the upper part of nasal bone is reached through the nasal incisions and the bone is re-shaped by special shaving systems.
The intervention is as limited as possible and because of no nasal bone fractures required to give a natural round shape to the nose, the intervention to nasal tip is minimal, the recovery time is very short without any bruising and swelling around the eyes. The most important condition for the success of the mini rhinoplasty technique is the selection of the appropriate patient, the realization of the expectations of the patient and the physician before the surgery.
