Complications that may occur during the operation are very rare which related to general anesthesia. Before this operation, the anesthesiologist will give you the necessary information.
One of the unexpected conditions that may occur during the surgery is the large amount of bleeding from the nasal tissue; although we use low blood pressure anesthesia and bleeding-reducing drugs, sometimes very rarely, the patient’s nose is bleeding more than normal. This may occur as a result of the use of medicines containing aspirin or aspirin-like substances up to 1 week prior to surgery. These bleedings are usually controlled with the help of the anesthesiologist (reduced blood pressure).
